The Golden Key specializes in Intervention Services for students with special needs. Small group sizes, smaller student teacher ratios, and specialized training are the hallmarks of our services. Specialized services are provided year round for students in the Preschool Intervention and Pre-K classrooms, and are provided on a typical school calendar for students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade.
As a provider of the Autism Scholarship and the Jon Peterson Scholarship, the students’ educational programming and therapy needs are financially covered. Acceptance into these programs is required through Ohio Department of Education.
The main goal with our population of students with disabilities is to create an environment which is least restrictive while also providing the proper level of support for their learning and behavioral needs. This requires continual analysis that the services provided are within Best Practices for Students with Disabilities. Student Achievement, Financial and Operational Measures provide accountability for meeting state standards and ensure high-quality education.
